ANNUAL BACKFLOW CERTIFICATIONS & REPAIR, REPLACEMENT & MAINTENANCE

Backflow preventers aren’t pretty. However, they are vitally important to protecting our public water supply. “ Backflow” is the undesirable reversal of flow of non-potable water or other substances through a cross-connection and into the piping of a public water system or consumer’s potable water system. Commercial buildings and multi-family housing are equipped with larger backflow preventers, while single-family homes are equipped with smaller versions of the piping. Backflow preventers are installed on various types of water lines, including domestic (potable) water lines, fire lines, irrigation piping and reclaimed water lines.

Annual certifications by a licensed professional using a calibrated testing device are required for all backflow preventers. Our technician will send the test results to your municipality, as well as provide you with a copy.
